Painting a Document with Formatted Text

Ever wondered what that "paintbrush" icon on your toolbar is intended to do?  It's your Format Painter.  To use this tool, place your cursor near text that contains formatting you want copied, then click on the Format Painter icon, and it copies the text formatting from that area.  (You can also select a paragraph or cell, and Format Painter will copy that formatting when you click on the icon.)  Next, paint the copied formatting wherever you'd like by holding the "painter" cursor over the text and clicking.  Double-clicking on the Format Painter icon will allow you to copy the formatting repeatedly until you press the Escape button.
