E-zekiel.com recently introduced "My Channel" to help you make the most of the free video-sharing site E-zekiel.tv.  With My Channel, you can easily add multiple videos to your E-zekiel.com site without any code.  As your video collection changes on E-zekiel.tv, the same changes are instantly applied on your website. As you might say when trying to organize your surroundings, "everything has its place."  And in E-zekiel, the one place that holds almost everything is called My Files.

This is an online file storage space where you can store and manage materials such as photos, graphics, audio, video and documents that you want to make accessible from your website.  Thus, you can keep everything you need in one location, organizing them in multiple levels of folders and with delete-and-add capabilities for multiple records.

E-zekiel Adds Community Content Feature

Thanks to a recent improvement in the Content Panel manager, you can now choose to make the Panels on your site available to any other E-zekiel user.  Or you can display on your site Panels of content available to you from other sites.

Option 1: To share your Panels with others, select "Any Site" in the Content Distribution field of your Panel.

Option 2: To find new content for your website, start with the "Panels" Dialog Box on any of your pages, then click on the "Search Community Content" button. From there you can search, preview and rate shared content. When you're ready, select the "Add to My Site" link and choose the area of your page you want to add it to. You can add a Panel to one of your pages – or to all of your pages.

Finding the Names of Toolbar Buttons

Tuesday, January 15, 2008 View Comments Comments (0)
For the most part, the toolbar buttons in E-zekiel's page editor use icons familiar to computer users – an image of a disk for "save", a pair of scissors for "cut", one piece of paper on top of another for "copy", and so forth.  But when the icon doesn't have a familiar look, finding its name is easy enough too.  Just let your  mouse hover over the button in question, and its name will appear in a small yellow box right beneath.

E-zekiel also uses this same approach in the Control Panel when you'd like to know a manager's purpose.  Simply let your mouse hover over the icon, and a brief description of what the manager does will appear.
